Throughout the year, the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a variety of community events. We hope you’ll join us!
Atlanta Local: A Maker’s Market
This quarterly downtown market features handmade, homemade, an homegrown items from vendors who reside within 50 miles of Atlanta. With over 60 vendors and a food truck court, this event is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family!

Steven Smith Memorial Cruise Night
The Stephen Smith Memorial Cruise Night is a downtown event that serves as a summer kick-off celebration for the Atlanta Area each year! The evening’s events include a Classic Car Cruise-In, Homemade Ice Cream Contest (individual and commercial divisions) and live music. This year, we are combining the event with our Summer Maker’s Market.

SummerFest
SummerFest is the Atlanta Area’s Independence Day extravaganza! Each year, hundreds of revelers join us for an old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration including live music (The Dusty Rose Band), food vendors, kid activities, and of course, a fireworks show!

Moonlight Madness Sale
Moonlight Madness is a fun, family-friendly event with a focus on shopping local! Participating shops stay open late and offer sales, door prizes, and giveaways. Additionally, this event offers live music, a karaoke party, a food truck court, and over 50 pop-up up vendors.

Glow Run 5K & Monster Mile
Let’s GLOW! The Glow Run 5K & Monster Mile is the Atlanta Area’s favorite annual racing event. This race brings an electric family-friendly atmosphere to the downtown streets with a glow-in-the-dark paint party, dance area, and a lit race course.

Atlanta Area Christmas Parade
An event that needs no introduction! Our nighttime Christmas Parade is one of the best in East Texas- thanks to the overwhelming support of our local community. Bring the kids out for floats, candy, and a whole lot of fun!
